Product Details
This custom audio playback core PCBA is developed for paper greeting cards, musical cards, holiday gift cards and confession cards. It supports voice recording, audio playback, loop playback and key trigger activation. Featuring ultra-small footprint and ultra-low power consumption with coin cell power supply, the board is ready for mass SMT production.
I. Core Functions
- Adjustable Recording Duration: Optional 10s~60s (standard options: 10s / 20s / 30s)
- Trigger Modes:
- Hall Effect Switch: Auto playback upon card opening (most widely used)
- Tactile Pushbutton: Press to record or play audio
- Light-activated Trigger: Starts playback when exposed to ambient light after opening
- Operation Flow: Record → Auto Save → Single Play / Loop Play
- Power Source: 3V CR2032 coin cell with ultra-low standby power draw
- Audio Output: Drives 8Ω/0.5W miniature speaker for crisp noise-free sound
- Optional Upgrades: Preloaded built-in melodies, flashing LED lights, scheduled timed playback
II. PCBA Hardware Configuration
- Core Voice MCU IC: Cost-effective mainstream domestic chips including WT588D, KT404, SYN6288, KT804 with on-chip storage, no external Flash required.
- Trigger Circuits:
- Hall switch plus matching magnet for open-card auto-trigger
- Tactile button for manual operation
- Photoresistor for light-sensing activation
- Power Circuit: CR2032 coin cell holder for direct 3V input; reverse-polarity protection and current-limiting resistors integrated.
- Audio Driver: Transistor-based amplifier driving speaker with compact 0603 SMT components for simplified circuitry.
- Optional Expansion: Flashing LED circuit, USB audio file downloading, extended recording time, Bluetooth audio playback.
III. Working Principle
Long-press record button → Speak into built-in MIC → Release button for automatic file saving.
When the card is unfolded, the magnet separates from the Hall sensor to trigger playback.
The voice IC retrieves stored audio data, which is amplified and output via the speaker.
Playback stops upon completion and restarts automatically next time the card is opened.
